Welcome to the Donegal Angling Centre. In addition to our physical store, our on-line store is now open where you can browse a vast range of bait, tackle and angling supplies at great prices. We've expanded our range to cover the needs of freshwater and saltwater anglers with products from all the top suppliers and manufacturers in addition to our own unbeatable selection of fly-tying tools and materials. We'll have great weekly deals in the online store on an on-going basis as we add inventory (these will not be available in-store), so check back often. If you don't see what you need, please contact us or drop in.

Ireland Angling Expo 2010

Mara Media, our home-grown publishing and event management company based in West Donegal and publisher of titles including The Irish Skipper, Take Off magazine and various others are proud to bring you the Ireland Angling Expo 2010 show on Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th of February, 2010 at the National Show Centre, Cloghran, Co Dublin.

We'll be there with our full range of quality rods, reels, tackle, fly-tying tools and materials, clothing and some great deals will be on offer. There will be something for everyone, no matter what angling discipline you favour.

Now in its ninth year, this popular all-Ireland Show will be officially opened by Jack Charlton, no stranger to casting on Irish shores and will feature Matt Hayes presenter of "Total Fishing" on Sky TV.

The National Ireland Angling Show is a chance for angling enthusiasts to see first-hand, the latest rods, reels, clothing, bait and accessories and to learn some new techniques from all over the country and beyond.

The popular casting pool is back and visitors will see how Glenda Powell and Charles Jardine, perfect their successful casting techniques. The theatre will host experts in various disciplines, such as Mary Gavin Hughes (Sea Angling), Matt Hayes (Coarse) & Game) and Jim Clohessy (Sea Angling) throughout weekend.

Included also will be a host of expert Fly Tyers, such as Peter Kealy and Peter Dunne.
